Reader Rewards Program kickstarts on July 5, 2026 and runs from Sunday to Saturday of each week.
How the Program Works
Participating is simple! Earn points by completing any of the activities listed in the Reader Rewards Program. Points are tracked throughout the month. At the end of each month, one qualified participant will be selected as the Monthly Grand Prize Winner. After the winner has been selected and notified, all monthly point totals reset to zero for the new month.
To receive credit, simply tag K.C. in qualifying social media posts, send a snapshot of your K.C. Mitchell Reader Reflection card via email, or otherwise make sure she is aware of your activity. If K.C. doesn't know about it, she can't award points for it.
Current Standings on the “Reader Rankings” page are updated weekly on Sunday and posted on K.C.'s Quill Coterie weekly email, website, and social media platforms. Readers who reach the Safe Line qualify for the Monthly Grand Prize drawing, while top participants for the week may also earn Weekly Prizes once a 5-point minimum is reached.
The more you participate, the more points you earn—and the better your chances of climbing the rankings and winning rewards!
Weekly Prizes
In addition to earning points toward the Monthly Grand Prize, participants have the opportunity to win one Weekly Prize each week. Winners will be announced in the weekly My Quill Coterie email every Tuesday morning and on social media by Tuesday evening. The following are the prizes for the first through fourth weeks of each month and for the fifth week when applicable.
Week 1 Prize: 📖 Reader's Choice eBook
The winner may select any eBook or PDF edition from K.C. Mitchell's catalog.
Week 2 Prize: 🎁 Bonus Entry
The winner receives one additional entry into the Monthly Grand Prize drawing.
Week 3 Prize: 🏆 Bonus Points
The winner receives +2 bonus points added to their current monthly point total.
Week 4 Prize: 🎬 Reader Spotlight
The winner will be featured on K.C. Mitchell's social media platforms (TikTok and Facebook/IG). Authors may choose to have a book, website, or author platform highlighted as part of their spotlight. Readers may choose a social media shout-out, feature post, or other reasonable recognition within reason. Reader Spotlight participation is optional. If declined, an alternate prize may be substituted by author.
Week 5 Prize (Months with Five Weeks Only): 📚 Name a Character
The winner may name a future character in the next upcoming K.C. Mitchell novel. Character names are subject to author approval and may be modified as necessary to fit the story, avoid conflicts with existing characters, or maintain creative consistency. Weekly prizes may be adjusted, substituted, or enhanced at K.C.'s discretion.
Monthly Grand Prizes
At the end of each month, one qualified participant will be selected as the Monthly Grand Prize Winner. The winner may choose ONE of the following rewards:

Reader reviews are always greatly appreciated but are completely optional and cannot earn points due to review policies on platforms such as Amazon, Goodreads, and others.
Talking Posts on Social Media (2 Points Each)
Talking Posts are simple social media posts that help introduce readers to K.C. Mitchell's books. Fancy graphics, editing, or production are not required.

Referring new readers to join My Quill Coterie is one of the most valuable ways to earn points.
A referral form is located directly beneath the My Quill Coterie signup section on K.C. Mitchell's website.
When inviting a friend to join, ask them to take an extra moment to complete the referral form so you receive credit for the referral. To ensure you receive credit for your referral, please confirm with me if you do not see your points for said referral.
Referral points are awarded once the referral has been verified as a member of My Quill Coterie.
A Quick Reminder
If K.C. doesn't know about it, she can't award points for it.
Whether you're filling out a Reader Reflection Card, creating content, or referring a friend, make sure K.C. is aware of your activity so you receive the points you've earned. Once each prize is rewarded, it will not be refigured, so make sure all points are credited PRIOR to the end of each contest.

Safe Line
The current Safe Line is 10 points.
Participants who reach or exceed the Safe Line during the month qualify for the Monthly Grand Prize drawing.
Weekly Prize Eligibility
Participants must earn a minimum of 5 points during the week to qualify for that week's Weekly Prize.
Ties
If two or more participants are tied for a Weekly Prize or Monthly Grand Prize, K.C. Mitchell will randomly draw one name from the tied participants through a computerized program to determine the winner.
Claiming Prizes
Winners will be notified by K.C. Mitchell using the contact information provided. Winners must respond within 7 days of notification and provide any information necessary to receive their prize, such as mailing address or email address, etc.. Failure to respond within 7 days may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner.

- No purchase is necessary to participate in the Reader Rewards Program. Free opportunities to earn points are available through referrals, social media participation, and other qualifying activities.
- Physical prizes are available to U.S. residents. International winners may receive an alternative prize of equal value at K.C. Mitchell's discretion.
- Points have no cash value and may not be transferred, sold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash.
- Referral points are awarded only for legitimate new subscribers and may be denied for duplicate, fraudulent, or self-referrals.
- K.C. Mitchell reserves the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the Reader Rewards Program at any time.
